The hair is not Maya.. is a raw mesh coming from Zbrush, straight away.. it has quite a lot of polys.
Is not the most efficient way of doing it, but it was the simplest by the moment.
I hope Octane will eventually have support for fiber rendering or something like that.

it was kinda challenge to fit that many polys into the gpu memory.. the hair was extremely dense.
But Im happy on the results for the time... despite it still can be improved a lot.

Today I ve just downloaded eagerly this new version; I ve been disconnected for a while.. I just can't have connection 100% all of the time. Yeah, I know you need to protect your soft, but this just kicks me out. Guess I'll have to keep oldndirty MentalRay at hand. :|
