I have had good success with mixing the Overrides and Modo materials. What I did notice will cause the refresh dialog is if you are mixing materials in the scene and you have "Load Cage" checked. I do all the material work and then if I need to, I will check "Load Cage" and then not change any ...

CADloader and Octane?
Is it possible to use the CADItem and push it to Octane with out having to convert it to mesh item?

OK Paul I have tried for a few hours to hack together some script to do the loop checking for the true on the "octane.renderStatus ?" but my lack of coding knowledge has me stumped.
Any quick help would be appreciated.

Audio alert on complete
It may just be me but I would love to have some type of alert to know when a render has hit maximum samples. I often move to other projects while rendering and it would be very beneficial to have some type of alert.

Here is a simple one.
Create a sphere and assign a material.
Create an Octane Override.
In the Override assign an image to be the Diffuse color.
Octane will not render the map.
Now in Modo's shader tree load the same image and then update the Octane view and it will work.

In the new 901 plugin I notice that we can now scale the render view, which is fantastic, however now the background does not scale with it. This makes it very difficult to get the camera angles and such. I know in the 801 version that when you click preview mode that the background would scale down ...
