Re:
This is really good. I really like the way you have used light and reflective surfaces. In my opinion its a little densely populated, if real estate is cheap you can open the space up more. Have you given any thought to rent? Will a penthouse cost a premium or will people just construct there own ...

I thought I'd share a bit more of my process on creating this image :)

In this image I wanted to show the first few seconds of what a player sees when entering the metaverse. Leaving their living room behind when putting on an Oculus headset and being transported to a new ...

Re: Render Samples
Thanks guys. Unfortunately no Titan X under the hood haha :)
Does a noise threshold exist? Is that even possible with GPU rendering? What I mean is if it's possible and I set a noise threshold value that each pixel is checked to see if it needs more samples, that way it saves time by not resampling ...

Render Samples
Hi all,
I've been doing quite a few test renders with direct light and path tracing and I was just wondering if someone could help me clear up the questions about the max samples.
Is there a better way of approximating how many samples you'll need to eliminate visible noise in a render? I noticed ...

Hi maxwood,
thank you for asking me. Because i was "blind" too, i didn´t change the camerasettings at all.
I use the C4Dplugin and there is the IPD set at 65mm. Than there was nothing more to do. Just take attention that your camera is well orientated (0 degrees at all axis) and post effect is ...

A bit late but congrats Chriz!
May I ask what your camera settings were? I'm also "blind" without an Oculus or Gear at the moment and just working with the default settings!

Re: Oculus special event june 11
Watched the replay of the livestream this morning, very exciting times to be interested in VR. I think the controller decision was a smart move and I think it's possible we can expect Oculus support for the Xbox One now that there's some form of partnership going on there. I expected Microsoft will ...

Re: 3DS Max PFlow Motion Blur
I'm still stumped on this. This particular forum doesn't seem particularly active would I be perhaps better posting my questions in the demo forum instead?
Object motion blur doesn't work with particle flow. You should use Vertex motion blur for the particle flow.
I'm not %100 sure but you may ...
