Just checked the ORC and OKX export is back online, which is awesome.

About your statement
"You can certainly do that by creating a render job that flips through the frames and resaves as OKX. Just caught up with ORC team last night and they are addressing the OKX button missing in the UX."

ORC .okx exporter

Hello there.
I'm trying to evaluate the possibilities of using this wonderful format of 18k cubemap videos for GearVR for our VR experiences.

The only thing I've found about encoding these .okx files is that it should work thru ORC.
But unfortunately there's no option of .okx output for my sample ...

Also why this is a problem if you make tiled terrains. Pikes will not be visible.
Also It's better to use displacement as a helper for details on lowres terrains. Not over a plane with high amount displacement.

pikes are visible on tiled terrains, because each tile is a different material ...

What I find has helped is to scale all the image maps uniformly (including displacement) by a really small factor.
for example change from 1.0 to 1.001

It's so small that I did not notice the change when using tiles.
Unfortunately it is noticeable.

World Machine displacement edge artifacts

Hello there. Im using bunch of planes one to one with 4k displacement maps from world machine. Nice solution in terms of render time.
Though im getting strange artifacts on the edge of every tile, as on the pic im posting. It ruins the whole idea of building a big terrain out of tiles.

Hi there.

Just started experiencig this bug, just in time, 3 days till deadline. :evil:

Happens randomly, on random files, mostly on project open while it converts materials for viewport.
Sometimes it will crash octane plugin too.
Tried updating gpu drivers, got new octane version, no luck.
