Working with 2026 Addon 31.0 Beta. When I get a chance I can try with other VDBs.

If I'm working on a file, made some changes, but did not save and then click on New - OctaneRender Startup (Direct Lighting or Path Tracing), there is no prompt for saving file. You lose all your edits! All the other options (New: General, Sculpting, etc..) correctly prompt you to "save changes ...

When I plug either Volume Medium or Standard Volume Medium into a Medium Switch node, it washes out and lightens those volumes significantly. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I haven't used or tried Neural Cache yet.

I’m having an issue where Octane Blender Addon frequently fails to start rendering. No error is presented. The viewport simply fails to go into render mode.

The correct Octane Server is active.

I too signed up immediately upon receiving email. Still waiting for details on how to access the free 3 months.

So in three weeks the addon moves out of Beta and becomes a Stable release? Also does that mean it has reached performance parity with the custom build?
