Re: Analytic Lights camera disable in Viewport
This is also happening with me. I uncheck Camera Visibility. The light geometry does hide from render. But saving and re-opening the file, Camera Visibility goes back to being checked. The odd thing is that in preview render the light still stays hidden until doing a full final render. Very odd and ...

Analytic Lights & Post Processing crashing Octane Server
Big issue with Analytic lights causing some kind of memory error under certain situations. This is happening in Windows version of OctaneBlender and reproduced on two different computers.

Re: OctaneBlender Studio version 2025.3 for Mac
Thank You! When I saw the note on the download page that the Mac version was based on the Prime release I assumed it would not have Network rendering since I thought that was a limitation of Prime as opposed to Studio.
Once again, thanks for pointing this out.

OctaneBlender Studio version 2025.3 for Mac
When will there be a Studio version of OctaneBlender 2025.3 so we can do Network rendering? Being able to connect to Windows nodes works very well with Mac Stand Alone. Would love to be able to do that with Mac OctaneBlender.

Re: NEW: Octane X - is finally here! [MEGA FAQ THREAD]
I don’t understand how this new server thing is different than the Network rendering we now have. Maybe when I try the Octane 2025 Beta I might get a better picture of what it’s about.

I would like to know this too. But more for setting up scenes on the iPad and using Network Rendering to render them to other Macs and / or Windows machines as Network Slaves (is that headless rendering?).

Re: iPad Pro & Octane
Wow you’re right the iPad Pro M4 does work great with Octane! I just got one a few days ago and in addition to Octane also installed Nomad Sculpt, Procreate, and Valence 3D - which seems like a nice capable polygon modeler. Can’t find anything for converting between gLTF and USD though. Would be ...

Re: Texture baking of maps for remeshed objects?
Yes I have been doing it through Blender but for some reason when I try to bake the Roughness map it is coming out just black and white. So I thought I would see if Octane can do it. Not a huge issue I can always paint in a roughness map in Substance Painter or generate one from the diffuse map in ...

2024.1 - 29.15 - Stable or Beta?
The release page says OctaneRender™ for Blender 2024.1 - 29.15 [STABLE]
But the downloaded files for both the server and the DCC are labled Beta.
Which is it?
