+1 also we need a matte material option which can hide objects behind it and no shadow matter!!! I mean multiplies the alpha value of the pixel with its own opacity value.

Hi Karba.
Random color texture is reassigning each frame and chaging color. I created a forest scene with instancing just a one tree. I gave color gradient map for the leaves. Then gave random color texture to the leaves. Started animated render and its changing the color of the leaves each frame ...

Personally I prefer the old method, as it seems the new method does not take into account the light bounce from the matte object onto anything else in your scene. If you've got a white sphere sitting on a matte ...

I said many months ago that Otoy is the new Pixar.
The problem is that behind Otoy there isn't Steve Jobs and his money.
I don't understand why Weta is not interested in Otoy.
