+1 also we need a matte material option which can hide objects behind it and no shadow matter!!! I mean multiplies the alpha value of the pixel with its own opacity value.

go to material editor window there is a "Material" button next to "Modes" button. Click on it then it drops down. There should be a line Highlight assets in ATS dialog or something like that. I said many months ago that Otoy is the new Pixar.
