I've got a number of machines here all ready to render animation with Octane, but I'm wondering. Is it quicker overall to render using network render or to render multiple scenes on different machines individually? Does the network render use maximum amount of power available to each ...

Actually I think I have solved this - the slave seemed to be looking for port 48001 so I reinstalled the daemon and set the port to 1025 and then told the master to use the same port and it is now working great.

Network render node showing as Unavailable
I'm having some issues with the Network render feature, one of my slaves has started displaying as unavailable and I'm not sure why.
It was previously working but has since stopped, as far as I'm aware no settings have been changed.
Any help would be much appreciated, not sure how I can get you ...

Thanks for the response.
So, it's three machines, with 8 GPUs in total.
As I say, it's slightly odd because two of the machines are able to see all machines in the Network render but one of them isn't able to see any, even though it is able to be seen by others.
