thank you!
The knitting effect was entirely done with octane scatter.
I animatied a mask on the UV texture that drove the opacity channel of the shoes material.
I rendered out a version of only the edge of that same mask.

NIKE VAPORMAX
So I recently finished my graduation project, which was a Nike Vapormax 3D animation.
It was my first approach on this kind of Advertisement so it's far from perfect but i am happy with the result afterall.
Made with Cinema4D, rendered in Octane.

Re: weird camera shake
I found the problem, an object that was behind the camera was set as a focus object. It wasn't moving but somehow still caused those little shakes.

weird camera shake
Hello people,
I'm working on a simple text animation and I have a weird Issue I never had before.
The text animation looks fine in my viewport. But as soon as I start rendering, random camera shakes appear.

Re: Any reason NOT to use Ryzen?
AMD Threadripper will come out soon, 16 cores and 64 PCIE lanes. And there will be motherboards with 4 pcie slots.
I would go with that if I were you

Bloom treshold? (repost from general)
I once posted this in general but got no response, I just want to hear a devs opinion on that.
So please let me know what you think Ahmet :D

looking for a new monitor
hello people,
I am planning on buying a new monitor. Since I do a lot of design work (3D and video editing, grading etc.)
it would be nice to have a high color accuracy. On the other hand I also like to play fps games like counter strike
so i need a high refreshrate one (144hz). I have done some ...

Re: Bloom Treshold?
Hi Cr4zyFX,
could you post a screenshot or annexample scene?
The use of linear response and gamma is not clear, which values are you using exactly?
Have you tried to use the post effect in render pass mode?
You should be able to better see the effect of the post, and eventually change the result in ...

Hey guys,
I have been using Octane for a while now and I´ve noticed a thing that bothered me. In some scenes I would like to use
some post effects like bloom. But since my camera is set to Linear which results in a higher-than-normal gamma level, I can´t really find a use for
the bloom or glare ...
