local and render network files look different
Hi All,
recently I rendered files on the Render Network.
I exported the c4d file as orbx file and uploaded to the farm.
I needed to do some cover renders to fix minor issues so I rendered the same file locally.
However when I wanted to composite them in Fusion, they looked difference, one of them ...

Re: render time issues
Something is not ok with the motion blur and cloner/particles.
The motion blur works with no issues until about frame 50-53 after that the render time jumps up with 15-20 times.
I start the render from frame 54, first frame ok, the next one is a total mess.
Then I start the render from frame 55 ...

Re: render time issues
I narrowed the issue down a bit.
It seems to me that it is related to the motion blur.
When I switch it off it renders well. I switch it back on, still renders well. I step one frame. The render time jumps up again.

what is Brigade and how can I use it and access it?
Hi all,
I saw a video from Otoy about Brigade and of course I read the short article about brigade on Otoy website. I looks exciting but it is not really clear how to use it, where can we access it etc.
Can you enlighten me?

Re: Pyrocluster sim jumps
How are you rendering this scene? Live Viewer is for lighting and materials, not animation.
I am not sure what do you mean by that? Obviously I am not animating in the Live Viewer. yet the animation is presented in the viewer. That is the whole point.
My point was that the error is visible in the ...

Re: Pyrocluster sim jumps
Here is a link for my latest cache:
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/vzdwpzlw82qc0hb7w3lwx/h?rlkey=9b8vfogrm2vzf4kwueaedfcn9&dl=0
For me the jump happens on frame 97-102.
In the Octane live viewer is also visible.
I am curious that it is the cache or something else?
Now I have the same error, on 2 ...

Re: Pyrocluster sim jumps
I brought the file that I shared with you through dropbox, to my second machine, with the Intel CPU and 2080 Super GPU.
I cached the scene, rendered it and exactly at the same frame the sim jumped again from its position.
