Hello,
I would like to update my workstation with some newer hardware so I was thinking about I7 8700K since I’m using AE and C4D pretty much where single core clock means a lot in everyday work.
Mainly I'm upgrading because of RAM, 32GB was not enough in few critical situations :)

I had same issue.
Also noticed when rendering takes, R19 finishes rendering at random frames, for example sequence is set to range 0-125, rendering finishes at 61, or at 1.
If I try to render it further, it renders black like no scene is there!?!?
If I restart R19, it renders but again it stops at ...

Did you render the attached scene and checked the images?

Thanks for detailed report! But i cannot see any bug/unexpected results.
1-Disabling of motion blur in render with motion vector pass is normal behavior.

It should be disabled on all renders/passes in that case but its not ...

Hello,
I rendered out some passes and noticed some bugs.
1. When Motion vector is activated motion blur still remains on layer masks. It should be turned off on all passes when you render motion vectors pass, right?

2. Tried to make substitute with ObjectID pass but in my scene in frame 38 all ...

Yeah, I would be also be more happy with low noise card, so I would prefer strix.

Hm, just tested GTX1060 from son's computer and Octane bench 3.06 give me score of 98 .
Also tested my current rig ( 3x780Ti ) with 3.06 and got result of 295 . I tested with OB2.17 and I got 313 .

I was interested in AM models but saw comments that Founder Edition is better for packed rigs because of air intake.
So if I got AM model they would pick hot air coming from those cards on mount.
FE models would intake cool air from outside, like in pic bellow.

Also, there is OC version of Asus ...

Hello mates,
Need a little advice about upgrading my GPU WS (see pics)
Got 3x780Ti; 1 display EVGA in 16x slot and 2xGigabyte on risers (down/right)
Down right I got 2 intake fans blowing cold air over 2 cards on risers and 3 outtake fans (up) pulling hot air out.
My temps on full load are 73C max ...

Hi,
Is it possible to use baked maps from c4d sculpt mesh and replicate same results you get with c4d standard material/render in octane material/render?
I can't get it right :(

I think it would work when motion blur is enabled

Shouldn't motion vector work without motion blur? Objects move and have some speed regardless of lenses.
Case is that I play with motion blur in composting, not to render it in octane, therefore would be nice to have motion vector pass.

It works ...
