Re: 3DS Max Plugin Not working correctly
Thanks for all of your help. However I am still having issues. I re installed 3DS Max and Octane for 3DS Max. with all of the latest versions. Once again the first time I use Octane in 3DS Max it works. If I close Max and reopen it. Octane no longer works. It does not recognize my GPU's at all. I ...

Re: 3DS Max Plugin Not working correctly
I have installed the latest 3DS max Octane version 2.23.2 and still have the issue. Open a scene directly after installation and it works until you close octane. Once 3DS max is closed and then re opened Octane does not work. It looks like it should work but the render viewport comes up blank. I am ...

Re: i7 5960x or dual Xeon E5-2687w
Thanks for the input. Yes, I am doing animation work and need to speed up my output.
I was looking at machines from mediaworkstations.net and got this as for an answer from Chris.
"Yes, there's a limit to how many bytes an i7 5960X can push, and that's what GPUs need to perform. I just had a ...

i7 5960x or dual Xeon E5-2687w
I am going to buy a new rendering system. I would like to go with four Titan X's or four 980ti's. Does anyone know if the i7 5960x chip can push enough data fast enough to the four large cards. Would I get better render times with four of these cards and dual Xeon E5- 2687w's pushing them data ...

Re: Animation object visibility
The scene you sent over did not have an Octane camera so I added one and then tried to export the animation using the built in Octane plug-ins standalone exporter and it now crashes Max every time. Over and over it crashes an all I did was add the camera and try to export the animation. Any idea ...

Re: Animation object visibility
Thank you once again for your help. I still am unable to get it to work. I have verified that my settings match those in your file and still does not work. It all looks great in max! I can render frames that show my objects hidden but when I export my animation and open it in Octane all objects ...

Re: Animation object visibility
Thank you for your help. I still can not seem to get it to work. Do I need to set the movable proxies for every frame in the animation for each object or can I set the movable proxies for each object at the key frames that they become visible or hidden?
Thanks,
Sincerely,
Jason

Animation object visibility
I have a 3DS max animation that uses visibility tracks to control when certain objects turn on/show up and turn off/go away. When I output my animations to Octane the visibility parameter is lost an all objects are visible during the entire animation. Can I fix this some how? Does octane animation ...
