One of the reasons why lights appear so bright is due to the linear tonemapping we use.
Adjusting gamma will help.
I might add a reinhard tonemapping kernel in the near future.

It is a known problem for me, that icons on Mac are not shown.

Icons of custom plugins? or all icons?
In my case all other icons in sketchup are fine.
Only the octane one is a blank button. I don't have any other 'custom' toolbars to compare too though so the fact that the normal sketchup icons ...

Yes, the pngs look correct both in explorer and in photoshop.

I also did a little experiment just now. I searched the Octane folder for other similar png's and copied 2 from the "Tools\Sandbox\images" and renamed/replaced with your png's but even these didn't ...

ps. Don't know if it helps but your 24x24 png is actually 25x25 pixels. Although seeing that there is the same problem with the 16x16 I doubt that that is the issue...

Just checked and yes they are in the folder, EXACTLY as described in the the readme. I didn't move anything around so no reason why they shouldn't be.

Switching to small buttons on the toolbars doesn't change anything so it's the same problem with both pngs
