Hey team. I would like to see AOV groups made more accessible in Houdini.
This video shows how it works in C4d. The nodes are obviously available in houdini but it's very tedious to have to break into the rendertarget and its near impossible to figure out which nodes to use and how to implement it ...

Re: Nested Dielectrics in production
Just noticing Beppe, that it looks like your example is producing an error. That dark refraction of the logo inside of the glass is exactly what goes wrong here - not supposed to look like that..

Re: Nested Dielectrics in production
That's super interesting Beppe thx for the reply! I did try with Material layers but must have done something wrong. What's that end node? the glass? And how do you restrict the logo to the outside of the glass? Could you share that file?
R21 pls.

Nested Dielectrics in production
Long thread - big issue.
I am having challenges with Nested Dielectrics. My very real production example is the infamous beer, with bubbles, foam, and droplets on the glass. All of this is absolutely doable. The challenge comes when I wanna slap a logo on the glass and e.g. use a bump for very small ...

The Hydra plugin is another project not directly related to this main plugin. It is still in development, but it will be available shortly.
Thanks,

-Juanjo you guys can not keep saying this, and meanwhile send us emails announcing it's implemented (srsly!) You're shooting this ball back ...

Re: OctaneRender™ 2018.1 for Houdini™ produc. build 2018.1.0.7
I am getting the maximum limit of 2 gpu's warning. How do I fix this? Is it a licensing issue? I just paid 199 to upgrade my licenses to all access subscription - which I didn't think I had to. Issue still persists!

camera mapping
Hey guys, I can read from the documentation that it's possible to camera map textures, however it doesn't say how. It would be great with a screenshot on how to hook it up.
