Hi @Goldorak I would like to test Octane for Unity. We have a large install base here. 25ish Standalone with plugins for C4D, Maya and Houdini. We also do VR work via Unity.
Thanks,

Re: Rendering with Deadline is slower then picture viewer
We have had the same issue using Maya+Octane and C4D+Octane with Deadline..
When we monitor the GPU's we never got me than 50% usage. We were able to spawn two concurrent tasks and max out the GPU's. With that we equaled local render times. Problem was it was not stable. Hung frames all over the ...

Re: Support for XParticles SDK?
Hey Aoktar,
I understand that more access becomes available to you with Octane 3. I'm sure you a thinking about how to integrate TFD and XP3. I'm wondering if you plan to transfer XP3 attributes across. Will we have access to point Age, Temp, Speed etc? What about spline rendering? Will Octane ...

Batch rendering not using networked GPUs
Hey all. I'm running a batch render from a workstation and it renders fine on its local GPUs. I am connected to 5 other machines on our network and everything appears healthy but none of the GPUs on the other machines are being utilized for the batch render. If I use "IPR Render Current Frame" I see ...

Re: Maya render, low GPU utilization
Thanks for the tip. That certainly does help to maximize our GPU usage but I would like to figure out why Maya/Octane wouldn't use as much GPU as it could with just one task.

Maya render, low GPU utilization
Has anyone noticed that their GPUs are not being fully utilized? We have 3 980-ti cards that are each only hitting somewhere between 30%-50% utilization during a render. When I run the Octane Bench test I see the GPUs jump to 99% utilization.

Re: Use all GPUs?
Any way to override that? The artists' workstations don't have as many GPUs so they cannot properly set the GPU count in their scene before submitting.
Thanks.

Use all GPUs?
Hello. I'm rendering scenes through Deadline using the Octane plugin for Maya. I found that the scenes were only rendering on 1 GPU. (there are 3 in each of my render nodes). Is the selection in the Octane Render settings to use all of the GPUs set per project or is it set for any project in Maya ...

For future reference, you can run Deadline on 2 render nodes for free.
