Yeah, I think I can only really fit 3 cards in my case (plus potentially 750ti as monitor card still if it fits), and I was planning to get 2 hybrid 980tis.. (and keep 780 6gb)

I want a couple of those EVGA Hybrid 980Tis... when will they ever have stock though?!! Especially in Canada...

Maybe buying reference for now is better, then buy a the Hybrid kit later.. Or maybe cheaper is NZXT Kraken G10 bracket with Corsair H75??

Oh hell yes! Glad I didn't jump on the TitanX.. Might sell my regular 980 and 1 or two of these. Paired with 780 6GB that's a nice amount of VRAM!

I'm guessing in Canada it will be 2 x the price of GTX980, and not 2x the performance (maybe 1.5x).
But taking up much less case room and using less power than 2 cards.

Well judging by the benchmark above (from 4 M/s to 6.2) that's a >50% increase, so thanks to Otoy for improving things.
The 9s might still be a little slower than 780s which is a little disappointing but does offer more RAM and uses less power. Also if and when the new 8GB cards come and then the ...

I did just see the Titan Z at half price (Zotac) here but its on back order. $1800 + tax (CAD)
Hopefully they will get more stock at the same price; but the other 2 brands they have are still full price :(

Only got Octane last week when my Strix GTX980 arrived and I'm loving it!
