also just found the answer. One of my gpus is rendering at 2 samples per second and the other is doing 70. Any fix for this? lol my life.
RE UPDATE: after restart everything is fine. If i mess with the gpu settings in the render settings panel it all goes to hell

How many polygons/triangles are there in the scene?
The more complex the scene the longer it takes to upload the data to the server, compile the scene and start rendering.
If you getting up to about 5million triangles this is probably the expected time.

I don't know if it's the reason for your issue, but do not put the cards in sli mode when using Octane. Octane doesn't need it to be on and it can cause issues. What are you using your particles for? And do you have the mesh set to "scatter"?

This usually happens when you haven't logged in correctly. Make sure the Octane render server is running and you have entered your credentials correctly.

The cards aren't currently in SLI mode. The scene is a ton of small circle that flow around and become some text. I don't think i tried putting it in scatter. I will defiantly give that a try tomorrow when I am on.
