Thank you for the link. Unity3D support was announced some time ago for octane 3, but seems to have beenpushed to the 2017 octane 4 release:

Unity3D Lightmap baking

In the press release for Octane 3 was a short mention that Octane would support "live and offline lightmap baking" for Unity3d. I could not find further info on this. How does this work? Or is it yet to be released?

Any updates on the release timeline of the 2.1 Max Plugin? The last "soon" was about three weeks ago. It would be the speed boost I'd REALLY need right now in order to get my current job done in time. So any info would be valuable, I might have to think about hardware upgrades soon if the ...

I second this. In game Production this is still standard procedure.
I know octane is an unbiased renderer, however I would only use clay mode or only diffuse materials in order to get a VERY quick lightmap, which sometimes will take quite some time with VRAY if you want no grain.

Vray Toon Support?

I use Vray toon quite often to add outlines to my renders and this is the feature I miss the most right now.
As it is just an atmospheric effect, would it be possible to support it? Would be a lot quicker than coding your own solution...
