Hi there,
Is there a way to update the attribute value of a geo without updating its mesh deformations via "Update mesh deformations"?
Best wishes,
Thomas

Re: Clipping / Boolean fragments
Hi,
Thank you. I already tried ray epsilon and priority. Did not work.
I cannot send you this scene. Perhaps I can send you a different scene, but I have to make it first.
Best wishes,
Thomas

Clipping / Boolean fragments
Hi,
If I use the clip material to bool a geo, I get these fragments. Any idea how to solve this?
Best wishes,
Thomas

Re: OctaneRender 2023.1.3 for Houdini production (2023.1.3.2)
Hi,
Parameter is marked in "red."
When Render Node (green arrow) is used, and clicked on "Render to Disk," everything works well.
When Merge Node (blue arrow) is used, and clicked on Controls->Render, the increment value does not work.
Best wishes,
Thomas

Hi,
The increment parameter in the Octane Render node does not work when plugged into a merge node, even if "Render Frame Range Only (Strict)" is activated in the Octane Render node. I also tried disabling the "Enable Overrides" parameter, but it does not work. Octane renders each frame instead of ...

Re: Scrubbing timeline slow
Hi,
Thanks! I disabled it and need to click "Reload" manually. Then, IPR does only load the geo needed.
Thank you!
Best wishes,
Thomas

Scrubbing timeline slow
Hi there,
if I scrub the timeline while IPR is open, it's really slow. It seems that Octane iterates through EVERY geo nodes available before updating. Is there a way to prevent that?
I'm using Octane 20.2.5.0
Best wishes,
Thomas
