Re: OctaneRender 4 / All Access - Update FAQ

Well moving to the sub model for more than online-only services is pretty disappointing.
A recurring auto-update license should be no more than an option never mandatory for version upgrades.
Also earlier in the thread it was said that letting the aub expire would bounce the product back to an ...

Re: EXR in Photoshop

I just tried some huge multi.layer EXR from octane standalone in latest Krita 3.2.1 build. Works like a charm out of the box, no CC-subscription necessary.

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows/OSX) 3.03.3 [TEST]

"Add X" would be very useful if considered as a pre-light computation texture editing operation. Manipulating a texture does not involve any light calculation. It is simply photo-shopping in the material shader. So this operation does make a lot of sense.

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows/OSX) 2.25 [STABLE]

Hello again Paul,

I'm currently working with some python generated landscapes, which come with complex multi-layered materials.
Unfortunately the Poser Plugin simply does not pick up any of the texture-blend color math nodes in poser's material setup even though I'm only using those that can be ...

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows/OSX) 2.25 [STABLE]

After doing some searching on the web, I found some other suggestions...

1) Go in to Nvidia Control Panel->Manage 3d Settings->Global Settings->Power Management Mode->set to Prefer Maximum Performance

2) Use something like MSI Afterburner to down-clock your cards. Using MSI 420, set the Core ...

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows/OSX) 2.25 [STABLE]

Does it happen when you render with just each card individually? Have you tried using one card as your Windows display adapter and one card for rendering? Have you tried rendering when superfly is disabled (if that's even possible)? Have you got SLI disabled?

ie... there must be something ...

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows/OSX) 2.25 [STABLE]

I just tried it out, same problem as with all the other drivers: Plugin doesn't work, Standalone does.
