I finally found my joke from File/preferences/CUDA Devices tab : my CUDA driver is not recent enough (at least v6.0) and initialisation failed.

I 've downloaded demo version plus simple test scenes from octane demosuite.
My graphic card (NVIDIA quadro2000) is quite old but should be compliant.
