Re: Disable single GPU during network render
No solution to this? No way to "send to network" for rendering? I would really like to render using only network GPUs...

Disable single GPU during network render
Is it possible to disable your local GPU during network render if you only have 1 card? If you have 2 or more GPUs there are options on the render preview UI to enable/disable individual GPUs, which is nice because i'll start the render, let it load, then disable all my local GPUs essentially ...

Re: LW update?
I would pay $1000 right now to get the most recent Octane in LW. There's gotta be enough Lightwave users to warrant development... there are dozens of us!

Re: LW2023 + new Octane
Are you running octane prime? If so it can only use 1 GPU as far as I know.

Not stills, usually these are long animations.pixym wrote:Hi,
Is it only stills, if yes how many ?
Edit : Keep in mind I work only on LW 2015 right now with Octane Render as my renderer.

Re: Rendering Wireframes
You can use the info render buffer to export a wireframe pass. But the problem is octane will triple the geometry so you wont see it as quads.

The best option would be to use native LW to export a wireframe view.

Re: Looking for render help
Hi,
So you want somebody to hit ONLY the render button on his rig to help you ?
Yes, I was able to get this project done but in the future it would be nice to have someone in my back pocket to do exactly that.
Dont forget that you can render at lower resolution and use Octanes AI Upscaler mode ...

Looking for render help
Not sure if this is allowed but I could use some help rendering a few scenes, I have a tight deadline and don't have enough render nodes. If anyone here has a decent render rig and could use some extra cash let me know.

Re: Focus Range
Ill do two item info nodes, one for the camera and another for a null. Then tie those into a distance node and plug that into focal range. Move the null to whatever you want in focus.
