It looks like the OSL texture works better using OFM ORBX material.

I'm not a programmer, but from what I saw playin a little bit around with OSL it looks like a completely possible solution to create a set of tools to be integrated in octane, to create procedural nodes like in Substance ...

Procedural geometric shapes

Hello all.
Is there a way to achieve procedurally generated texture shapes, as SQUARE, CIRCLE, TRIANGLE, PENTAGON or ELSE?
Stuff that is possible to do in Substance Designer through mathematical nodes and shape nodes.

If not, will that be implemented sometime along in the development?

It feels pricing for owners of perpetual license (as me) is a bit high.
I explain.
I've bought octane standalone and plugin in 2014 (full purchase) 459€
Than in 2018 I'm asked to pay to upgrade to new version 75usd
than now 2021 I'm asked to pay to update my full version (perpetual license) 499 ...

1. What do you import with ORBX PROXY? (I only have Octane scene option)
