Re: Cinema4D version 2024.1-[R3] latest stable (11.10.2024)

The Stable Versions of 2024.1.1. and Stable Versions of C4D Plug 2024.1.-R3 seems not to fit.

Tip: it would help, to clearly identify releases related to each other. Its a mess, when administrating client nodes ...

Re: Cinema4D version OctaneRender® 2024.1_Beta_2 (26.06.2024)

1. Complex Render scene Render Freezes (no Progress) with all "Lighting based Chn/modes": DL, PMC, PT, Photons with scenes of higher LOD, detail above 2GB VRAM usage.

Re: how to smoothly fade out an object?

Hi, Ive got the same issue.

Transparency Objects Tag for transisition / fade is not precise with the octane slider; neither the visibility tag of cinema 4d.

I have no glue how to create a "customized percentage slider" – I simply think that the fading should work smoothly, without having a harsh ...

Re: OctaneRender® 2022.1 XB 3

Is there also a Mac OSX Version supporting Intel/AMD – instead of M1 only – aviable soon?

As of Otoy is/was bundled with current MacPro/Intels there are loyal Pro Mac production powerhouses out there.

A simple "yes", "no", "not yet planned" would help (to decide loyal customers license ...

Does it support Intel AMD Macs (non M1/M2). Eg MACPRO 2019 with AMD Pro Vega 2 DUO?

Re: OctaneRender® 2022.1 XB 2

Hi Beppe,

thanks for this update. We are aware, that every progress brings in its own complexity generating again new priorities. But unfortunalety it raises expectations as well. And we enjoyed all the progress in the last years, Otoy/Octane did.

Therefore I think we all keep the fingers crossed ...

Re: OctaneRender® 2022.1 XB 2

Thanks Beppe,

I am sorry... but since Feb 2021 we are informed, that there will be cross platform render node Mac/Win support in "next version" (see history below).
2021.1 passed, 2022.2, 2022 ... ? Redshift has it already for years.

We love Octane, but stability issues and missing cross platform ...
