I have also been getting this error suddenly as well as error 999, 799, and a few others, I have everything from 1080s to 1060s 980ti and 980 machines getting these errors. I get them on something as simple as a new scene with a box.
Any help is greatly appreciated as I can't render anything on my ...

Can't color particles
I am trying to color my x-particles with an octane material.
I have the object tag on the emitter and can see the particles, however they only appear grey/off white. If I apply a material to the emitter nothing happens, I see no update in the live viewer.

Re: X-particles
Is there a way to scale the native cinema 4D particles while using the octane particle engine. I can get them to show up, but can't give them a color or different scale. Do you have to use the hair material or something?

Re: Octane Render 2.0 for Cinema 4D previews
I cannot for the life of me get x-particles to render in octane. I can only get native emitters to render in cinema, and only as white balls.
What settings must be enabled for the x-particles emitter to render in cinema?
Thanks for the help.

Re: X-particles
I am testing the demo version of x-particles and can't get them to generate in octane. If I use the cinema 4D particles i can see them (only as a white sphere when I enable the particle engine). How do I make it so I can see the x-particles in Octane and give them a different material/size?
