Just imagine everything there but its all in a beautiful black and white, as if there are no textures/colors. Oh octane my octane why must you trouble me so.
Btw I tried your way using both "save .ocs" and "edit in standalone" and I only get the first 24 frames. Ill check my .abc export settings ...

Okay, thanks. Great work so far, the plug in is coming along great. Also please make sure that when exporting to stand alone the octane materials are retained. I was able to export my animations to stand alone however I lost all octane materials so I have to reselect and connect them to their ...

I didnt realize this function was for the live viewer render. How do i export a c4d with animation into stand alone? this function only seems to export the objects, I need an abc export. How is open subdiv different from C4d subdiv?
If I use subdiv in my viewport, then render in octane with open subdiv, does opensubdiv act on the subdivided mesh? what are the benefits of this exactly?
