Hi ceen,

A quick play suggests that the universal camera distortion texture works like a standard UV remapping. If you give it a basic Red-Green UV gradient then you get the original undistorted image. You can use OSL or other nodes to do stranger things.

Hi Steven,

Have you tried using the OSL camera projection nodes? I don't know if they will solve your issue directly, but they are at least tweakable.

Additive transparency

Has anyone had any success creating an additive transparency effect in LW? I've got two emissive objects with partial transparency and I'd like the areas where they overlap to be 'double' bright.

I'm not sure where to start with it, so any suggestions gratefully received!

I hacked the vRoom C4D OSL to work in Lightwave a couple of years ago. Does this do what you need?:

I'm guessing volume Vectron is still in the pipeline? If so, can I put in a vote to see it sooner rather than later? I've got an idea I'd love to try out with it.

Hi all,

I'm really struggling with Spectron volume lights in LW2015.3 and plugin version 2019.1.4.0. It crashes as soon as I add the volume light node.

The log shows this:
