Hey Beppe one more question, pardon if this is in the wrong thread. With Octane V3 am I now able to use the mograph multi-shader, proximal shader, etc.. all the native C4D and Mograph shaders? I'm almost ready to upgrade and if this is in the latest version I'd love to go forward.
thanks

Re: cloud as plugin
This is great. Pardon my lack of understanding but are we now at the point where I don't need CUDA gpu's and can use Octane on my laptop/trashcan?.. and still get the Live Viewer realtime rendering etc? Is that what the cloud allows? I haven't upgraded yet because I'm waiting on this feature.

Re: Network Rendering
Yup! Working like a charm. Thanks mane.bepeg4d wrote:I forgot to mention that is important to make sure that the plugin and the Standalone demon are of the same version, eg, if you use the 2.25 plugin version, the Standalone demon must be the 2.25 and so on

Re: Network Rendering
Hi,
yes, you need a separate Standalone licence for every slave.
ciao beppe
Ok sweet so I just purchased a new license for C4D and the Standalone. I still don't see the other machine/gpu's in the Octane C4D Network Rendering window of the master machine. I am running the Standalone and the slave ...

Re: XParticles 3.5 and Octane Render 2.24 for C4D
Sorry I should've given more info. I did the whole sphere and tag thing but it wasn't as intuitive as the "particle engine" option I was used to. So I went back to version 2.23.2 and it's working better for me.

Network Rendering
Hi do I need to purchase additional licenses of Octane to use the network render functionality in Cinema 4D? From the manual it looks like you need to run Standalone in the background with the slave daemons but I can't have Standalone running on two machines because I only have 1 license. I'm on a ...

Re: SSS clouds C4D
Hi Aoktar is it possible to do this volumetric rendering now with the new Octane version in C4D? I need to recreate that cloudy look in objects using noises.aoktar wrote:which version of standalone? Can you show me scenes?

Re: Volumetric Generators!
This is amazing. Is it possible to achieve the same thing with the C4D version of Octane? Or is this only in the Standalone.
thanks!
