Hi ,
I've a problem when I switch to Octane V 4.04 R2 or 4.05 : it displays non stop this console message " Internal Failure in Python" . So I switched back to the 4.01.1 version which works .

here a screen joint of the console ( it says I'm in win 8 but no I'm in win 10 x64 )

well I was wondering the same thing just few minutes ago .. but I guess one year without any reply , I'll take it at it is and won't hope for any input too here .

ha ok . well the problem I got recently didn't involve SSS c4d stuff only few simple c4d mats . But yes i removed all those c4d mat (were native in an Xref loaded character ) to make it work

i didn't think octane has control over the colour of each hair ? for example root colour from a texture map ? have i missed something ? thanks
hey Pete ;) , yes I missed this at first try too . Sometimes you need to refresh or delete drag again the mat to make it works ( I had troubles but closing ...

Currently with an Octane mat combined to the hair mat, we can have control of the color along each hair which is great, but not ...
