Re: Self Cleaning toilet - animation
I like a lot the design. What happened with the self-cleaning floor? Was it dropped for money reasons? I remember your previous video, it was a very cool idea.
Congratulations anyway.
My only comment is that I think the walls should be metal, or something high-tech. Not stone, although this is only ...

Re: Serious candidate to my next system
Leonardo, how comes that you choose the Titan, having the 690 with more cores and bandwith??
Well it seems like people on this forum say it's the fastest card... I may be wrong. Perhaps the 780 is better value, as it's nearly as fast as a TITAN but at a much lower price.
However, If I was to ...

Re: Looking for advice in a project
This is a good topic, I'll be commissioned shortly for a few interior views and I'll have to propose a fee. I work full-time so rendering has only been a hobby for me, but now I'll have my first freelance job. I don't know how to charge. The client and myself are aware I am not a professional so I ...

Re: HDRI+SUN/SKY MIX Interior
That's very interesting, thanks for sharing the tricks!
I've also found myself playing with the HDRI gamma more often than not, to get better shadows.
So the HDRI you use for this image in particular is an exterior one, I see? I mean vegetation all around, 360 degrees, with sky above and grass ...

Re: Starting new project
It's amazing what you can do with the AO... ya verás cuando te compres la TITAN, vas a dejar el AO en la cuneta :D
This is my personal opinion, but I think all views should be from standing height (1.7m), and preferably with parallel verticals (camera and target at same height). Specially in the ...

Re: HDRI+SUN/SKY MIX Interior
I think it looks fantastic, congratulations. I notice the shadows of the earth globe and statue on the wall, they look a bit odd... or maybe not, sometimes looking at the work of people in this forum I forget how real things look :)

Hola Paquito
I agree with the lads, building your own makes much more sense (in pure financial terms) once you go beyond the €1000 price tag. It's not rocket science, especially if you have somebody supervising you, and a box of Mahou :)
Dell/Alienware will give you a 2 year warranty on the whole ...

Finally, after commenting on many people's images, I'll show you some of my amateur work. I hope you find it of interest, and of course please feel free to comment on it.
Both images are of an unbuilt building, a maintenance facility that we've designed in the office. It's quite a drab building ...
