Any thing that causes reload resets the seed for the IDs. Start and stop a render, even if nothing is set to reload, changes the seed. Since technically it’s reloading when you start again. And of course if you have update materials turned on. This will reset the seed every frame. I can only use ...

Token for VDB loader? (skip frames) (playback speed)

I'd like to have the Octane VDB loader be able to load every "x" frame if possible. This way I can "speed up" the playback of the VDB in camera. I know only of the token used for reading in a VDB sequence. "$F"

I will PM you a google link. It's a LARGE file even as 7z. I have more info for you too. Everything I reported before still stands. However, if I turn off MTSE, I can then leave RTX on and get all my instances rendering normally. That is, with moblur on or off.

Octane 2021, moblur+RTX, instances don't render correctly

I have noticed using the EOL Octane build that with RTX on, instances don't render completely. I get maybe a couple instead of them all. This is ONLY when motion blur is turned on. Or, you can leave RTX on, but must turn motion blur off for them to render completely.

I see Otoy has not released a 2021 network node. I assume I should hold off upgraded to EOL build? Otherwise I'd lose my network GPU capablities?

How does Octane's subDs work in Lightwave?

There's a disturbing lack of videos on YT for this and I'm not finding any real walk-throughs here. I loaded a plane that has around 50 polys. 4-sided, very subD friendly. Do I use LWs subD controls at all or just Octanes? Or both? I am not seeing any results other than LW subD.
