Got 3.00-3.213 installed, but still don't understand the following

Can anyone tell me what exactly the feature is for, what are you supposed to put int hat slot? Isn't it redundant? (environment medium) :?:

Where the heck is Environment Medium?

I am using Octane 3 plugin for 3DS Max, and cannot find the new Environment Medium setting <see attached image>
I find it always ever so difficult to create a spherical environment and the best ways in doing so with Octane. :?:

Diffuse Color from 1.x - 2.x - Gray Color - How to Convert?

I've been having trouble for months solving this issue.

I'm currently using 3ds Max plugin version 2.23.2 - 1.9
Trying to upgrade to 2.23.2 - 2.0 or 2.x - 2.x the materials do not work, all diffuse slots revert to gray, etc.

I saw there is a 2 stage converter, i installed it but failed to exactly ...

Convert Octane Textures back to Standard / Mental Ray

Is this possible? Yes, there is a convert to Octane Textures button....but can you un-convert?

We are trying to get the Octane Textures converted back to standard so we can put our 3D models into Unity Engine. :geek:

Is there a trick to getting the image to show up? OR does Octane not support UVW Unwrap in 3ds Max? (see attached)
Checker Pattern works fine, but no images... :(

Octane is 100% compatible with Backburner to send to a render farm. We use it for all our projects. Do your project, Send to backburner...and whatever computers are hooked up on your farm (that have octane licenses) will render the project.
