Hi Paul,

not sure whether this is also due to a limitation in Rhino:

When I move a file to my laptop and cancel relinking/updating texture maps when I open it,
because I forgot to copy them with the Rhino file,
and I then take it back to the desktop, I find that it has removed the previous links ...

That's working, I am getting quite a bit of noise, even over 4000 samples, but will play with the settings some more.

Set Rhino scale to big ?
You mean scale everything up so the light has a minimum radius of 300 meters in radius ?
I tried it but no luck yet - would you be able to send me a sample file ?

Hi,

I am trying to use a scattering medium to get some feedback on light distribution from a spotlight.

With the sunlight environment the scattering works, ie. a fog effect, but I don't get any visible light from a black body emitter with the same scattering medium settings, whether I use an ies ...
