Great, thanks Paul,
deleting the config file did the trick.
Best,
Ben

Re: mapping properties not live updating
Hi Paul,
not sure whether this is also due to a limitation in Rhino:
When I move a file to my laptop and cancel relinking/updating texture maps when I open it,
because I forgot to copy them with the Rhino file,
and I then take it back to the desktop, I find that it has removed the previous links ...

Re: Visible light
Great, thanks Paul,
That's working, I am getting quite a bit of noise, even over 4000 samples, but will play with the settings some more.

Re: Visible light
Thanks Paul,
Set Rhino scale to big ?
You mean scale everything up so the light has a minimum radius of 300 meters in radius ?
I tried it but no luck yet - would you be able to send me a sample file ?
Cheers,
Ben

Visible light
Hi,
I am trying to use a scattering medium to get some feedback on light distribution from a spotlight.
With the sunlight environment the scattering works, ie. a fog effect, but I don't get any visible light from a black body emitter with the same scattering medium settings, whether I use an ies ...

Re: Master scaling of multiple texture maps?
Great, thanks Paul,
I wasn't aware of that !
Sorry to ask for more, but advice on the following would also be much appreciated:
What's the best way of adding cast shadows to the hdri scene, short of photoshopping them in ?
Is there any way of creating a floor that's not visible but still receives ...
