I've only been able to get very minor speed increase for my scene (around 1% increase) with RTX on.
Still very buggy so far, sometimes scene does not start automatically with rtx on, it just stays on 0/1000, have to click on stop and start.
It also renders incorrectly under some occasion, please see ...

Rotate placement node by 90degree

Hi I'm new to Lua Scripting, I'm trying to create a script where it would rotate the placement node along the Y axis by 90 degree everytime I press a shortcut key.
Can anyone please give help on how I might do that thank you.

it appears that octane 2019 uses much more vram compare to 4.02 for the same scene.

not sure if it's a bug or not, but I get jagged edged using displacement in conjunction with OSL script to bake a displacement texture. Orbx attached

Why work hard fixing the plugin when one can get by doing nothing. Boss doesn't care, it's not his company, gets paid the same. I believe that's the mentality here. Sad, though not uncommon

I have three cards on my system but I fail to see the option to enable SLI in Nvidia's Control Panel,
anyhelp would be appreciated.

When I tried use one GTX 1080 as display card and two RTX 2080 Ti linked together with a NV Link it was not possible to activate SLI in the Nvidia Control panel ...

forest pack presets

I've tried converting materials by using the presets in forest pack.
Some of the materials disappeared (leafs) after convertion, any ideas why?
