as i launch houdini, even so octane render start without problem, i get that message
ERROR:
The Octane API can't be starterd: Tried to start DLL more than once.
would anyone know what could be happening ?

Hi,
i am trying to render a vdb cached from houdini 16 in octane for maya. In the log file i can read "unsupported VDB file format (expected version 223 or earlier, got version 224)"
i get crashes after few frames on some machines, not on others, but on every log that messsage.
any idea how to solve ...

Hi jim, it doesn't actually skip frames but instead render one and save it many times like if it did render the next ones, then jump to render another frame that it will save many times. The amount of time it will save a frame seems random.
