Re: Fracture lines
This is a problem from the implicit UVs that are created with the Icosahedron sphere type. Try a standard one that comes with just one latitudinal seam and a lot of pole pinching,

Hello,
Nice feature with the random colored trails. Just a quick question:
In your xp-trail3.c4d you render the particles in tandem with the trails, both using a random function to pick a color from a gradient. Is there a way to synchronize the two? So that the tip particle has the same color with ...

I've found that the ZDepth render pass is not saved while rendering an animation. Is shown in the LW but not saved when renderd in picture viewer.

I've tried to use the "Revert baking" feature and found out that the geometries used for baking don't have normal smoothing applied or exported.
I've tested the example posted by mojave in the "Re: What is "Revert Baking" used for?" thread and everything is fine, but if I try to replicate this in ...

Re: OctaneRender™ Standalone 3.00 alpha 4 [latest 3.xx]
Just tested one of the cards from the cluster by installing it in my case and everything is ok with the baking if I don't use the cluster expansion cards.
As soon as I use even just one cards from the expansion, I got a crash. And this happens just when using the baking camera. Normal rendering ...

Re: OctaneRender™ Standalone 3.00 alpha 4 [latest 3.xx]
Today I've tried to explore the baking feature in C4D and I've found that if I use any of the three 970 on my Amfeltech expansion cluster I get a system freeze for 20 seoconds, a black screen for another 10 and after that a system shutdown.

Re: OctaneRender™ Standalone 3.00 alpha 4 [latest 3.xx]
This happens only when I use the baking camera feature.
Tomorrow morning I will post the exact drivers and specs. I've just reinstalled yesterday my Windows and I've downloaded the latest version from the Nvidia site. When the baking feature was released, I've made a quick test and I've thought ...

Thank you for this new release. I'm really excite by the new baking feature.
I've made a quick test to see if I can bake blurred reflections from the camerea point of view but I'm only getting the diffuse (see attach.)
Is this feature not implemented at this time? I've tried with "Use Baking ...
