i have a scene in which i want a plane to be reflected but not to cast a shadow to the objects below, but when i turn off shadow visiblity nothing happens don't know why?
here is a screen shot with everything turned on

i did that, nothing changed.
On maya camera attributes there are two boxes right of the camera aperture label, the first one changes the field of view the other does nothing and the aperture setting on the octane tab has no effect on the exported camera.
Which setting do i change to eliminate depth ...
