Hi,
Will we be able to use vertex based shaders? integrate Cinema's 3D procedural shaders? Better mograph shaders? etc
Thanks.

Bake Textures
Hi,
2 Things...
1) Is there anyway Octane can make use of Cinema's 3d procedural space. Everything seems to convert to UV space?
2) I often use c4d procedural noises gradients etc when texturing, but I am often bogged down quite a bit when it comes time to compile for render because I have to re ...

Re: OctaneRender Cloud??
Guys,
I understand cloud is in the testing phase right now, but can we can some hard data as to when we can expect a public release? Any other info would be great too, what can we expect from pricing? We are evaluating our in house hardware right now.
Cheers.

Re: Which feature do you need the most?
Hair UVs so we can shade them over their length and plugin properly to Cinema 4D hair and shave module.

C4D Hair
Hello,
I've read through the manual and I seem to understand the basic implementation of the hair engine in Octane, which is cool.
I love the ability to influence the fuzziness etc of the render time hairs with the standard shader modifiers. But i've noticed that the colour and spec parameters ...

Re: Support for Mograph Shaders
Ahmet,
How difficult would it be to implement shader vertex maps? Perhaps even as a texture prebake ala 4D noises workaround? Not as nice as procedural shading but would allow for all sorts of FX work in Octane.
Many thanks for your hard work!

Re: Support for Mograph Shaders
Oh and also Vertex Map support in channel shader would be incredible too!
Thanks!
