Re: License server down?
Last ditch I got it to work, no help from oToy. I deleted the OctaneRender license folder in AppData, which is a minor thing but a few steps further than I'd like to have to take given there's automated system for managing the licenses AND there's no FAQ anywhere on the site or forum suggesting ...

Re: License server down?
Does this company even have real tech support and not just a blind email box and a joke of a forum? When I pay $650 for a piece of software I kind of expect actual support from actual people in a timely manner and not just being told to go to a forum or wait three days for an email. If I wanted to ...

License server down?
I recently upgraded to a Pascal-based graphics card (while keeping a second Maxwell card) and upgraded my Octane Render version from 3.03.1 to 3.03.2. Literally five minutes earlier before the upgrade everything worked perfectly, I installed the new version and now I get the message: Account not ...

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows) 2.24.2 [TEST]
My nVidia driver is crashing on a fairly regular basis with Poser 11 Pro, the latest plugin and standalone Octane Render using RedSpec shaders. I'm using the 358.91 drivers on two GeForce 970 in SLI.

Re: Create emitters script can't find primitives
Poser works fine. It's installed fine. I reinstalled the primitives twice. I verified my library settings. This isn't user-error, this is a bug in your code.
Honestly, I've had nothing but terrible customer service from OToy regarding issues I've had. Microsoft gives me better customer service ...

Re: Create emitters script can't find primitives
That is exactly where I have "one sided square" located it just asked me 30 seconds ago. I can locate it manually on both the filing system and in the library. Unless there is an issue with case-sensitivity (Python might use Unix-like case parsing) it's not working for me.

Create emitters script can't find primitives
Whenever I use the Create Emitters from Lights script it can't find the Poser primitives automatically. I can find them with the search window it pops up and it works just fine after that, but it can't do it automatically. I don't think my runtimes are terribly non-standard in layout, but I tried ...

Re: OctaneRender 2.x Fur/Hair support
It's nothing against Octane, if that's how it works that's how it works, my frustration is aimed at Poser for having the overly complicated Hair Room when what I'm wanting to do is apply fur to a model with little more difficulty than applying a shader. I can see why I've never seen a hobbyist 3d ...

Re: OctaneRender 2.x Fur/Hair support
So I have to potentially wrangle two or three dozen separate zones on a model, some of them very tiny and fiddly, manually, in an agonizingly repeatedly dull process with among the worst tools I have ever had the misfortune of using (in the Poser Hair Room), to cover a model in Poser's version of ...

Re: OctaneRender 2.x Fur/Hair support
Neither of those links address my issue in any way, shape or form and pretty much ignore the actual content of my post.
There was a feature, listed under a bullet point, in the marketing copy for Octane 2.0 for a fur/hair primitive.
