Hi Folks,
I tried to submit OctaneBench results for running the latest test with 3x Titan(Pascal) cards yesterday, but I don't see the results today. I realize this is only GTX-level tech, but was still curious about its place in the scheme of things.
Is there anywhere I should post to determine ...

Re: OctaneRender for DAZ Studio 2020.2-17.61 [Test]
This is a long-standing issue with the DAZ Studio Octane plugin, but I wanted to confirm it's still open:
The LiveDB material names are often blank/just a dash and refreshing the db in-program does not fix the issue. It seems random, because sometimes the material names show after restarting Daz ...

Re: OctaneRender for DAZ Studio 2020.2-15.58 [ test ]
For this test version (Enterprise license), changing
Ray Epsilon
to 0.000001 will spontaneously revert to 0.00003 after the next render attempt, I've found. It's annoying because I get artifacts in sclera when using anything more than 0.000001 (which Paul helped me realize) and so need to change ...

Re: OctaneRender 2020 for DAZ Studio [TEST and STABLE]
If someone could send me a scene containing basic primitives or standalone DAZStudio figures, that crashes the plugin on the STABLE version of DAZStudio, that would help me track the problem down. I have not yet been able to reproduce this crash.

Re: OctaneRender 2020 for DAZ Studio [TEST and STABLE]
Not sure where else to report this, but since upgrading to the latest version of Daz Studio ( 4.12.1.117 ), Daz will not shut down after closing the its UI - it can be seen in Task Manager with the same memory allocation and no Processor cycles, sitting indefinitely until force-closed. I can ...

Re: Discontinuance of RedSpec SSS
Very sorry to see this announcement so long after it was made, I've been very satisfied with my purchases of almost all their products and only recently decided to try out the former RedSpec TGX Wet beta.
I am satisfied with the current Octane license/subscription model and have a subscription that ...

Re: OctaneRender 2020 for DAZ Studio [TEST and STABLE]
I have another scene the causes more or less the same crash.
DAZStudio.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\octane.dll" at 0033:000000004D52C740, Octane::isGreyscalePass()+5684448 byte(s)

Re: OctaneRender 2020 for DAZ Studio [TEST and STABLE]
I have updated the installers at the top of this thread with:
2020.1.0.51
- Compiled with Octane 2020.1 RC1
- Removed the setting of the Windows TDR Deley setting when the plugin starts up
- Removed the OOC GPU Headroom slider, as this is now in the Device Settings panel
Thanks
Paul
