Re: Substance Designer and Octane?
I have been trying to use Substance Designer in relation with Octane for C4D. I am having some issues of things looking the same in octane render compared to SD interface. Do you guys have any issues with this? If not could you possibly share some insight on workflow to make things look correct ...

Re: Render Que & netwrok render
Just wanted to ask a question that somewhat relates to this topic. With the new version of cinema 4d R16 they are bringing back their net render which is awesome for managing many files in a que like matter but even better it runs from its own Net server so doesnt tie up your machine while trying to ...

C4D Possible Bug Importing Materials
Noticed that whenever I imported a created material from Octane Stand alone to C4D, C4D would crash. I Broke down my texture and discovered that C4D did not like Octane's 2D Transformation Node. I was able to resolve the issue by just using a 3D Transformation Node instead.

I have a Cubix GPU expander that is connected to a server node with both standalone of octane and c4d plugin. I am basically wanting to use C4Ds net render server ...

Net Render with Octane
Hey,

Hello,
I would like to create my materials using octane then save them into a library and import/download them into c4d for use. Is this possible and if so how?
Thanks!

Composite Tag
When I was using cinema 4d render I would sometime have items fade away using the composite tag and tell it not to cast shadow on object inside something like a case. Is it possible to do something like this with Octane? I have a mix material that I have something go from Diffuse to specular on the ...

Re: Hardware Question for 2.0
Hey thanks for the reply, this helps me a lot understand how things will work and allow me to plan accordingly. Making a 2 rig system seems pretty nice like you mentioned with the splitting of the project if needed as well as if something were to go wrong I could always use the one machine till I ...
