Good news that you may have a solution to the authentication issue, both this and the Poser plugins just crash the respective programs.

Same issue as Ken1711. I eagerly updated to version 3 at release and have tried every plugin release since and none of them have worked. Standalone installs and works fine. Poser plugin crashes Poser Pro 2014 whenever I try to start the plugin with the authentication error.
Just to close this thread out to resolution, Joe (Netherworks) has very kindly sent me a slightly modified version of his scripts that resolves the issue completely. So thanks to all for helping track this down.
