I already have version 2.0 standalone on my pc and working fine. the daz plugin v2 still doesn't work. gives the error message as mentioned before.

After installing it I get an error message : This plugin account not valid for version 2.x.

I have to agree with everything linvanchene said. In a nutshell what happenend was the programmer disappeared (for reasons explained) and all development completely stopped. This is totally unacceptable on otoy's part. Really poorly managed. My current octane plugin is constantly crashing my daz ...

It seems to be running way behind schedule. I may be wrong but I vaguely seem to remember that the octane plugin for carrara was announced after daz? and it seems to have been released now before the finalised non beta daz studio plugin? Either way. It seems to be taking a very long time.

I just stumbled across dynamic clothing yesterday in the daz online shop and am fascinated with the dynamic clothing plugin and want to buy it for animations. is this supported by octane? can I render animations of characters with dresses billowing in the wind with octane?
