instance generator using particles not showing in renders
So I have an emitter with particles, I selected the emitter and added the instance generator, added a sphere object and selected particles. It shows the blue box outlines around all the particles so its working, however when i render i dont see my model that has been instanced.. what am i doing ...

thanks, guess i will upgrade to v3.. quick question. I under stand i need the standalone and lw plugin for master computer.... but for a slave computer, do i need the LW plugin or the standalone, or both?

Octane only renders black and white???
I just reinstalled windows, lightwave and octane. When i go to render, colors are not showing up correctly. If i set something to red, it shows up whitish (fresh scene with one model, using octane diffuse material set to red).. I am using 2.5 and have the latest nvidia drivers installed.. is this ...

Quick question before I upgrade
I use lightwave on one computer and use another computer as a slave so i can network render.
I currently own 2 standalones and 2 lightwave plugin licenses.. i think i might have been a little confused there at the time i bought them.
to keep my current setup, all i need to do is upgrade 1 ...

If I upgrade to V3 license, can i still use V2
If I upgrade standalone and lightwave plugin V2 license to V3, can i still use V2 with V3 license?
I noticed some people mentioned the new V3 version renders slower than V2, just want to know I have that option before upgrading.

OK. Problem solved. was just about to swap out power supply and for the hell of it, decided to plug computer into a different outlet. apparently the outlet i was was not supplying enough juice for 1400 watts. guess its time to call an electrician. thank you everyone for your help. btw, I have ...

i am using version 2.2.. just went to render a scene with all three cards enabled. "priority unchecked" after 3 frames it crashed. so im right back where i started

seems setting bios to higher power settings, and unchecking priority settings for each GPU in octane solved my issues.. thank for the help!

also, i noticed by having "priority settings unchecked" for GPUs seems to render a second or 2 faster.. is that normal?
