Re: New Version - 2.10 for Max
Hi team, I'm leaving you screen prints of comparisons that have between standalone version 2.06 and 2.06 for 3dsMax, . and finally the standalone 2.1 representing a speed improvement of 25% in speed.
I'm not getting 3 times the speed RobSteady mentioned otherwise explained by the OTOY, or am I ...

Re: HDRI+daylight in octane 2.03
It is super simple,
-First you create a octane daylight
-in the properties panel, the last option is sky texture
-there you select the type of texture that you used (RGB IMAGE)
-drag and let the textured material selector
-then you add the file, JPG or HDRI

first of all, great scene, I like the composition and lighting, I gave myself the task of using a couple of settings to get the following results:

X2 580 PMC 00:33 / PT 00:53 / DL+DIFUSSE 00:28 / DL+AO 00:19

Re: OctaneRender® for 3ds max® v2.02
hello karba, I write to let you know a problem I'm having, when I activate the render region, render times grow exponentially, something that did not happen with 2.0 or 2.01, I'm not sure it's a bug or error in my scene, anyone else have this problem?

Re: SPA GEO
Hi arquimoncho,
I like the project of the spa and I think that the renders looks ok but maybe too much grainy for 2/3 h rendering, isn't it?
I totally agree with you, the project was done with 2 gtx 580 and here I leave the settings used by if you have any recommendations for future projects ...
