Hi, I've attached a sample below. I've to redo the material assigning again and again.
But then, I've just realised it was when I modified or make changes to the sketchup file, the settings in octane will reset to default.

I've updated the plugins to the latest version 3.08.1 but it still give me the same problem.
I created few scene tabs as instructed and assigned materials to objects. When I reopen my file, some of the materials were saved but some were not.
Some object even lost its 'material out' link. I've to ...

I think I have it figured out. Need to position the axis to the corner of object.

I try to place proxy object into sketchup but the coordination ran off. Does anyone facing the same problem?
Does anyone know how to fix it?

Thank you for your reply. I've tried to simulate from your render above. As you can see, my render is apparently looks like render regardless of the overall color, shadow.
I'm sorta new to 3D so I don't quite understand about the right lighting, materials and render settings. I've follow ...

I'm using Octane 3. Where can I find the Adaptive Sampling and Noise Render passes? I couldn't find them.
For the curtain, I use diffuse with some transmission.
Please advise.
