Haven’t found a single that support nativ Octane in Apps like Modo or Blender. Best is renting a server and install your own license… if you got a lot time.
Yeah been there with standalone in Vray, it worked well, except for deformed mesh and image sequences as textures. 30 GB and above upload is ...

Octane Renderfarm
I looked for renderfarms supporting Octane and all I found where some rental services, where had to install your own license to render.
Does no one render online with Octane?
I mean, why isn’t there any farm, where I can send my Modo file too and get the rendered frames back, like every other render ...

Re: What License for Octane X ?
Just asking if there is any news. In my account I see a ,macOS (Metal) Octane X PR8 (Big Sur), this is an AMD or ARM build?
Is there currently a ARM build for Modo at all? (PR11 ?)
Any time frame till it comes?

Re: What License for Octane X ?
Thanks Paul. I had to read it 3 times to get at least the idea fo it. PR most stand for Version.
So PR8 is the old one, not for Modo 15 and not for M1 or AMD, but Cuda.
And PR11 will be for Modo 15+ only, with M1 but not AMD support, but currently not working right in Modo.
Wow, thats tricky. I do ...

What License for Octane X ?
Sorry, I'm a bit confused. I haven't used Octane in the last years and I just see that OctaneX for Metal is available. Now, my account says I still have a license for Octane 4.0. I have no idea what 4.0 is?
Can I use it to run an actual build of Octane for Modo ?
Or do I need to upgrade with a ...

Re: Multiple UVs workflow.
Oh.. so its 3 UVs per item, not 3 per scene.. somehow that escaped me. Well that makes sense. So basically if every item has the base UV channel it can have 2 more.. nice. I will check why I got errors before.

Support for Octane scattering?
I'm not very familiar with Octane scattering, but it looks interesting. Is there a plan to support it as a plugin? I know that would mean we have no viewport feedback, but maybe it could speed up things. Or do you think its better to just export particle instances?
