Here is how I get my Substance Painter Textures into Cinema4D for rendering in Octane.

1. In Substance Painter: Export textures from Substance Painter using 'PBR MetalRough' preset.

This is a character I'm working on.
I modeled this in C4D, with some sculpting work in Zbrush. Having a tough time getting displacements in Octane to work properly so I used a higher poly version to render. Going to try an animation soon.
