I've just updated to the latest build. I'm on modo 13.2v1 and Octane 2021.1.3.184 Studio.
Now none of my scene load to Octane. Modo either crashes or the viewport windows shows up blank (just gray).
I've also updated to the latest nVidia studio driver (512.15).

Haven’t found a single that support nativ Octane in Apps like Modo or Blender. Best is renting a server and install your own license… if you got a lot time.

Hi

I am pretty sure that if there are any curves on a Modo Mesh item, then the polygons will not render in Octane (only the curves will). So you will need to split the mesh into 2 (which I understand you would prefer to not do). Unfortunately it a limitation of the current plugin.

So I have some polygons and some curves within one Mesh.
Polys have material A (with texture displacement) and curves have material B.

motion blur problem with an animated bezier deformer

Hi,

I'm trying to animate a piece of geometry that is beeing slid along a curve. To do that I'm using a Bezier Deformer. It works pretty well but I'm not getting any motion blur with that motion. Other moving geometry in the scene blurs correctly, only this specific mesh stays sharp.

Hey Paul,

small little annoyance I get everytime I just save my scene in the lates plugin. I've created the scene with Octane 4 and modo 13. Now I'm on the latest plugin also with modo 13. Is there anyway to get rid of this?
