Re: OctaneRender® 1.024 beta 2.47 PMC TEST (lin/mac/win)

I get an error when launching that test release :

"No Cuda capable devices found, exiting..."

I've got a gtx460 2gb with 270.61 drivers (cuda 4.0.1)

Some advices? Thanks

Re: Octane 1.23-v6

Is developping still on or what? No news, no informations, nothing..
No new releases because of Nvidia drivers developping? I hope this is just a joke.

You have to hurry up or new vray RT release will blow you off imho.

Re: Wrong reply from server

Totally agree with steveps3...i've bought octane license and stopped using it because of those changes.

Losing customers it's not a good point at all, imho.

Re: New purchase...

Definitely a 460 2gb imho. You can handle more detailed scenes with its vram and that's always a good thing.

Other choice will be Tesla card, but it's expensive as we know ;)

You can buy 1 gtx460 2gb now and wait for next gpu update with, maybe, more vram on it.

you need to investigate about that dimension, because it's too high for that model, and you don't have tons of trees and bushes. Textures width?

Optimize it a lot ;)

Reltime updates, online integrated material library (like maxwell), community integration...i think all that things will improve octane a lot ;)

Re: Building a Workstation

2gb gtx460 sli (tot 4gb) = 4gb to use for one scene ? is that right?
