Re: Different render result than the live viewer
Yes I already tried that,
changed to 'Resend only updated objects' manual , all and auto,
it renders the first frame just fine, but the following ones are dark again.
You said they emissions are weak, If I push the emission power way high, I get some light in the render, but I still can't ...

Re: Different render result than the live viewer
Hi mates, thanks for the responses,
here's the screenshot, I'm stuck here I checked everything!, it seems a bug, In octane's live viewer I get the lights (difusse material with blackbody emission) with, post fx etc, but when I render in the C4D viewer they are gone.
I think I'll have to upgrade to ...

Different render result than the live viewer
Hi,
haven't touched Octane since version 1.5 but here I go again.
I have an scene set and ready to render, also set all 'Post' flares and bloom fx etc, I see it in the Live Viewer OK, but when I click to make the final render in the 'Render to Picture Viewer' (using Octane Render engine) it renders ...

Re: visible or volumetric light in Octane
Thanks for your quick response,
first, and to be honest it is my first project using Octane, so I'm kinda newbie, I'm aware of too many polygons and subdivisions, the project is sending 800MB to the card, too much, still it renders fine, I'll reduce the polygons and scale.
But all my worries now ...

Re: Kepler vs Fermi performance
Octane's official FAQ says this:
What is the best/recommended way to increase Octane Render's performance?
As Octane Render completely relies on the GPU for rendering and does not use the CPU (besides scene loading), a more powerful graphics card (or multiple GPUs, see next question) will be ...

Hi mates,
I know it's a common issue here, but it's about GTX cards again, I just bought 2.0 version, I'm using a hacktintosh (OSX 10.9 Mavericks and C4D plugin) with 2 low end GTX cards right now, GTX580 and GTX 60, I'm quite happy with overall performance and render speeds.
I'd like to setup ...
